As the primary media contact for El Paso Locomotive FC, I had several responsibilities that were critical to providing the team with weekly media coverage, including:

• Handling all written content for the team (press releases, previews, recaps, features, etc.). 

• Coordinating various interviews with coaches, players, staff and leadership on almost a weekly basis to provide team updates, match analysis and personable ways to connect with local audiences in both English and Spanish.

  • These interviews could be post-training media scrums, press conferences and/or personal sit-downs. ​

• Serving as a club spokesperson on tv news shows and radio stations in both English and Spanish. 

• Assisting with game day broadcast production by setting up calls between the broadcaster, the commentary talent and the Head Coach. 

• Writing weekly game notes which can be utilized by both local media and the broadcast team. 

• Credentialing media for Locomotive matches.

At the time of this writing (June 2024), I've managed to coordinate over:

• 200+ in-studio and off-site media interviews across TV, Radio, Print and Web (English and Spanish)

• 100+ post-training interviews (English and Spanish)

• 25+ post-match press conferences (English and Spanish)

• 10+ special event press conferences (English and Spanish)
